Wayne and Terry Baltz are the founders of Prairie Divide Productions. They are the authors of The Invisible
Kid series (RL 3rd; IL 1st-6th) and Night Of
The Falling Stars (RL 5th; IL 4th-9th), have visited more than
70,000 children in schools in six states with their enrichment programs and
books.
Between them they hold degrees in English, Child Development, Education, and Counseling Psychology. They live in Colorado and are available to visit your school anywhere in the world with their books and enrichment program for children on writing, publishing, and the creative process. They have been visiting schools since 1993. Wayne and Terry are also the authors of a memoir for adults, Fierce Blessing: A Journey into Alzheimer's, Compassion, and the Joy of Being (named a 2003 Colorado Book Award Finalist). They have penned two screenplays: RELATIVITY, a drama based on Fierce Blessing, and THOREAU, a biography/drama about the writer/philosopher/naturalist/activist of Walden fame. Under the auspices of Prairie Divide they are currently working to bring these projects to the screen, either through collaboration with other production companies or through sale to capable and committed entities.
